BEHIND THE SCENES
Imminence music videos always inspire awe and, at the same time, present a challenge for the art director, mainly due to the volume of work on set design and prop collection. For this project, we constructed three boxes stylized as old wooden crates and a tunnel leading to a castle and much more. One of these boxes was installed in a vertically rotating structure and, similar to the stationary ones, was sprayed with water during rotation. The most complex set decoration in this project was the shifting sands made from keys. The keys for all five videos in the series (Come Hell or High Water, Desolation, Heaven Shall Burn, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Continuum) were 3D printed by one of the decorators, Eric Glazkov.
